Duties of the Research Advisory Council
|
a. Advise the university administration through the Director of Research on research policy.
b. Assist the university administration to create an institutional research climate befitting a major land-grant university and bring to reality the potential of its faculty in research and scholarly activity.
c. Advise in grant and contract management.
d. Aid in the development of faculty incentives for research and scholarly activity throughout the university.
e. Responsible for establishing necessary subcommittees as required by state and/or federal regulations.
