FINANCIAL AID

In providing financial assistance to students, the university will not discriminate against students with disabilities, such as providing less financial assistance or limiting eligibility for assistance based upon disability.  Financial aid awards will reasonably recognize the particular needs of students with disabilities, including additional costs related to the disability, the possible need for reducing credit loads or extending time allowed to complete graduation requirements, based on requests and supporting information provided to financial aid programs.  The need to reduce course loads should be discussed with staff at the Office of Disability Services and the Financial Aid Office located in the Administration Building, Room 106.  Telephone: (605) 688-4695.
