Directions to Admissions Office
From the South
1. Traveling north on I-29, take the first Brookings exit (Exit 132). Turn left and travel west into Brookings. You will see the Days Inn and Staurolite Inn near the Interstate. The road you are entering Brookings on is Highway 14, which is also 6th Street (this is the main thoroughfare through town).
2. Follow 6th Street to 12th Avenue. Take a right turn on 12th (heading north).
3. Proceed three blocks north on 12th Avenue to 9th Street.
4. Take a left turn on 9th Street (heading west). Follow 9th until you see the Administration Building on the right hand side of the street (across from the flag poles). The Admissions Office is located on the second floor of the Administration Building in Room 200 (the office with the glass door and wall in front).
From the North
Traveling south on I-29, take the second Brookings exit (Exit 132). Turn right and travel west into Brookings. The road you are entering town on is Highway 14, which is also 6th Street (this is the main thoroughfare through town). Follow the directions above, beginning at paragraph #2.
From the East
Traveling west, you will enter Brookings on Highway 14, which is also 6th Street. Follow the directions above, beginning at paragraph #2.
From the West
1. Traveling east on Highway 14, follow the Highway 14 Bypass Route until you come to Medary Avenue (there is a stoplight at this intersection).
2. Turn right on Medary Avenue (heading south) and drive approximately one mile to 8th Street. You will now be at a four-way stop.
3. Turn left on 8th Street and travel east two blocks to 12th Avenue.
4. Turn left on 12th Avenue and travel one block north to 9th Street.
5. Take a left turn on 9th Street (heading west). Follow 9th until you see the Administration Building on the right hand side of the street (across from the flag poles). The Admissions Office is located on the second floor of the Administration Building in Room 200 (the office with the glass door and wall in front).
Parking at SDSU
Designated visitor parking is available in front of the Administration Building. If the visitor area is full, you can park in any parking lot on campus except those spaces marked for Reserved or Handicapped Parking.
The University parking plan allows SDSU staff and students to purchase an individual reserved parking space, which is the only place they can park on campus. In order to protect these spaces, anyone parking illegally in Reserved Parking may be ticketed and towed.
