Transfer Students

- Please contact the previous college to cancel your classes and aid at the school for the next semester, as applicable.
- If SDSU does not have your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information, you need to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov [External Hyperlink] and add the SDSU School Code (003471). Do not delete the code for the other school. If you do not have your PIN#, you can request a duplicate at www.pin.ed.gov [External Hyperlink].
- Your federal financial aid processing begins when SDSU receives the electronic FAFSA information and you have been accepted in an SDSU degree program.
- Your financial aid should be completed 3 weeks before the semester starts and you must be enrolled at least half-time to have the eligible aid applied to your bill.
