- Please contact the previous college to cancel your classes and aid at the school for the next semester, as applicable.
- If SDSU does not have your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information, you need to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov
 and add the SDSU School Code (003471). Do not delete the code for the other school. If you do not have your PIN#, you can request a duplicate at www.pin.ed.gov.
- Your federal financial aid processing begins when SDSU receives the electronic FAFSA information and you have been accepted in an SDSU degree program.
- Your financial aid should be completed 3 weeks before the semester starts and you must be enrolled at least half-time to have the eligible aid applied to your bill.
