Scholarships for Minority Students

South Dakota State University has a commitment for diversity for students and to promote high achievement among the increasing number of minority students attending SDSU.  There are genderal scholarship funds for the minority students.  Native American students can complete the online Native American Scholarship application.  All other minority students can complete the online Minority Scholarship application.

Native American Student Scholarship awards have been designated for specific criteria.

The American Indian Graduate Center (AIGC) www.aigcs.orgClick to view SDSU's Hyperlink Policy has graduate fellowships available for the 2007-2008 academic year for American Indian and Alaska Native students from federally recognized U.S. Tribes.
Eligibility - 
1)Pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree as a full-time student at an accredited graduate school in the  U.S.
2)Able to demonstrate financial need
3)An enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, or possess one fourth degree federally recognized Indian blood
