The Oliver A. Gottschalk Memorial Scholarship

The Oliver A. Gottschalk Memorial Scholarship was established in 1993 by the family of Oliver A. Gottschalk in order to "give back" to the community from which they have been nurtured. The scholarship is to be awarded annually to a deserving SDSU undergraduate who is an offspring or dependent of a Career Service Employee at South Dakota State University.

The scholarship is awarded based on merit, GPA, work, and community involvement. There are no restrictions as to class year or major. Previous recipients may re-apply if they are making satisfactory academic progress. There will only be one scholarship awarded prior to the beginning of the Fall semester.

Application forms may be picked up at the Office of Academic Programs, located in Ag Hall 156  or you can download the form onto your computer. The due date for applying for the scholarships is June 1, 2008.
