All benefits-eligible, leave-accruing employees receive holidays regardless of their work schedule. All eligible employees in state government receive their regular pay for ten (10) legal holidays plus any other day proclaimed as a holiday by the Governor and the Board of Regents or the President of the United States. The following (10) holidays are recognized by the State of South Dakota. |
