Summer Admissions Requirements & Information

Admission Process

The process a student must go through in order to be admitted for the purpose of taking summer classes depends on the student's academic goal at SDSU. All information you should need with regard to the upcoming summer session is already on the SDSU website, but the goal of this page is to provide you with one central place from which to access that information.

·       All new, degree seeking students wanting to attend summer classes at SDSU would need to go through the admission process outlined for degree seeking students on our Undergraduate Student Admissions page.

 
·       All new, special/non-degree seeking students need to go through the admission process outlined on our Special/Non-Degree Seeking Student Admission Requirements page.

 
·       Current SDSU students will go through the same process in registering for summer classes as for enrolling in fall or spring semester classes - meet with and get permission from your academic advisor, and then use the phone registration system at the appropriate time to register for their classes.

·       All new or returning graduate students wanted to attend summer classes at SDSU would need to go through the admission process outlined for graduate students at our Admission to Graduate School page.  If you are a returning graduate student please contact the Graduate School at 605-388-4181 to reactivate your previous admission status.  To Register, please refer to the Students page.
