| Schedule of Events, Friday: March 28, 2008
| 8:00-9:00 .... Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for students to set up projects. Advisors should pick up school packets at the registration table. Projects must be set up by 9:00 a.m.
8:15-9:00 .... Judges' Orientation Meeting in the bleacher seating on the North West end of the Track.
9:00-12:00 .... ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE WITH THEIR PROJECTS FOR INTERVIEWS BY JUDGES (break about 10:15-10:30 a.m.).
9:30-10:30.... Meeting with all Science Teachers (West end of Track)
11:30-12:30..LUNCH for Group 1 - South Shore, Waverly, Elk Point Jefferson, Florence, De Smet, Centerville, Summit, West Central, Great Plains Lutheran, Grant-Deuel.
12:00-1:00... LUNCH for Group 2 - Hamlin, Brookings, Deubrook, Garretson, Flandreau, Elkton, Sioux Valley, Home Schooled, Iroquois, Henry, Hurley, O'Gorman, Unity Christian.
12:30 or 1:00-2:00.... ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE WITH THEIR PROJECTS FOR INTERVIEWS BY JUDGES.
2:00.... Contestants may visit other projects, visit arena exhibits, or leave exhibit area. Free SDSU ice cream compliments of the Admissions Office will be served. Projects may be removed during this time period.
3:00-5:00.... Awards presentations in Frost Arena north bleacher area.
5:00 ... Remove projects from the HPER Center following the Awards Ceremony. NOTE: There will be a short meeting of the Grand Award Winners, the two Alternates, and their teachers at the stage right after the ceremony to discuss the International Science and Engineering Fair in Atlanta, GA, May 11-16, 2008.
| THE EXHIBIT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M. Some students will be at lunch from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m.
| Note: An information desk will be maintained in the HPER Center throughout the day for the convenience of participants and advisors.
