Honors College Labor Day Retreat

| As a means of welcoming first-year Honors College students to SDSU and the Honors College, all first-year Honors College students are invited to attend the annual Labor Day Retreat at Oak Lake Field Station [External Hyperlink]. The event offers first-year Honors College students the opportunity to meet Honors faculty and fellow Honors College students, to learn about opportunities available through the Honors College, and to take a break from the stress of moving in.
The retreat features icebreakers, fun and games, lunch and a snack, a nature hike led by Dr. Nels Troelstrup, as well as a discussion on an assigned book. Although it is not required, it is strongly encouraged that all who attend read the discussion book. It is also suggested that those who attend bring long pants and bug spray for the nature hike.
