Electronic Copy Submittal

Electronic submission of a thesis or dissertation requires that the final version of the document first be converted to a portable document format using Adobe Acrobat PDFWriter.
The PDF file can then be submitted to the Graduate School via e-mail [gertrude_gedge@sdstate.edu], on diskette, or on a CD.

Once the final version of a thesis or dissertation has been converted to a PDF file, the author should match off pages of the PDF file with the paper copy. The Graduate School staff will do a random page match and will also do a final format check.
The Graduate School FTPs the PDF file and mails the supporting documents to UMI.
