Shadow Program Information

When you shadow at a pharmacy practice site, be sure to dress professionally and present yourself with appropriate demeanor. Some clothing for women that are currently fashionable may not be appropriate in most pharmacy practice settings (e.g., low-cut front or mid-section skin showing). Jeans, T-shirts, or shorts also are generally not considered professional dress. An example of professional dress would include slacks and a collared knit shirt, dress shirt (could also be with tie), or blouse for women. Be alert, attentive, and show your interest in learning about the pharmacy profession.
