The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the CAP Center, SDPhA, and SDSHP,
sponsor a number of events that will provide opportunities to help our students find
internship and permanent employment following graduation. These opportunities will
be posted on a regular basis.

Careers in Pharmacy Student Handbook

Pathways Evaluation Program for Pharmacy Professionals
Originally developed by Glaxo (now GlaxoSmithKline) and now maintained by the American
Pharmacists Association, the Pathways Evaluation Program for Pharmacy Professionals is
very useful for pharmacy students as they make career decisions. The Program is also very
helpful to pharmacists that are considering a career switch.
American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy
The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) web site has links to descriptions
of various types of pharmacy practice settings.
