Temporary Faculty Positions


South Dakota State University College of Nursing seeks applicants for a pool of qualified Registered Nurses for temporary appointments as Instructors or Assistant Professors with clinical expertise in any of the following areas: adult health (medical-surgical), community, pediatric, or psychiatric/mental health nursing. Many of the clinical sites are in Sioux Falls. Appointment length and percent time are variable. Salary and benefits are based upon rank and percent time.

Required

Baccalaureate and master?s degrees in nursing for instructor rank (doctorate for assistant professor rank); licensed as R.N. (or eligible for licensure) in South Dakota; two years minimum of relevant clinical experience; effective communication and interpersonal relations skills

Temporary Clinical Instructors

Temporary part-time Lecturer or Instructor positions for Fall 2003-Spring 2004 for student clinical instruction in adult health (medical-surgical) or pediatrics. Salary and benefits are based upon rank and percent time.

Required

Baccalaureate degree in nursing; master's degrees in nursing for instructor rank; licensed as RN (or eligible for licensure) in South Dakota; two years minimum of clinical experience; effective communication and interpersonal relations skills.
