RN to Bachelor of Science, major in Nursing
- Offers Registered Nurses an opportunity to complete their baccalaureate education while managing work and family responsibilities.
- 100% On-line education.
- Practicum experience completed in RN's home community.
Transfer credits
- Up to 20 nursing credits may be transferred from Associate degree or diploma programs.
- College courses with a grade of C will transfer.
- General core courses equivalent to SDSU courses transfer.
Graduation Requirements
- 59 credits of nursing and 69 credits of non-nursing (general education core and support courses).
- Complete 20 credits of nursing course work.
Accreditation
- South Dakota State University is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges.
- The College of Nursing's Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degree options are fully accredited by CCNE, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
