Nursing Student Services

The Department of Nursing Student Services focuses on activities for the College of Nursing in the areas of student services and continuing nursing education. The goals of the department include marketing, recruitment, and retention of nursing students.
The Nursing Student Association promotes active participation in college and national organizations. Many College of Nursing faculty, students, and alumni are active members of the nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau International, Phi Chapter.
As the culture becomes increasingly diverse, nurses must become aware of how to address the needs of a variety of clients. Nursing students compete for the opportunity to visit another country and learn first-hand about the nursing and health care delivery in that country. |
