 Nursing Accelerated Option
The Nursing Accelerated Option is for students who have completed a Bachelor's degree in any field and wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. An intensive program is delivered in a compressed format over 12 months. Our first class was admitted in the fall of 2002 and graduated in August of 2003. Students in the Nursing Accelerated Option start classes once a year in August at University Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Theory and on-campus labs are taught at University Center, with clinical rotations in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities. Learning opportunities are web-enhanced and students are required to purchase one of the approved laptop computers.
To be considered for fall admission, students must meet the minimum admission requirements, including technical standards, and submit an application by the deadline. Please contact us for guidance in completing pre-nursing courses in an appropriate sequence. For more information, visit the links below and contact us by phone or email.
We look forward to talking to you about the Nursing Accelerated Option for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing!
