GRADUATE NURSING STUDENTS

2006 March of Dimes Graduate Nursing Scholarship
Qualified scholarship applicants are registered nurses currently enrolled in a graduate program in maternal-child nursing at the master's or doctorate level with at least one academic term to complete after May 2006. This is a $5000 scholarship to recognize and promote excellence in nursing care of mothers and infants. Scholarship applications must be received via email no later than January 16, 2006. NEW CAMPUSRN-AACN SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED (BS to MS)

AACN is pleased to announce the two latest recipients of funding through the CampusRN-AACN Scholarship Fund. A future nurse practitioner, Maria Teresa Davis Erickson is currently enrolled in an accelerated BSN program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Kelly Holder is a student in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of South Carolina who someday hopes to teach at the university level. Winners received $2,500 in scholarship monies through this program that supports baccalaureate and graduate nursing students. Britzman Family Endowed Graduate Scholarship
Criteria: Annually awarded to a graduate student with a GPA of  at least 3.0, who has successfully completed at least 15 semester credit hours toward a master's or doctoral degree, and who is required as part of that degree to conduct original research. The student must demonstrate a sincere interest in their chosen field and demonstrate a good work ethic by applying themselves to the best of their abilities. Financial need may be a consideration. The scholarship may be renewable if recipient continues to meet the criteria. The recipients will be selected by a scholarhip committee in the graduate college.

Evelyn Peterson Scholarship
Criteria: The recipient shall be a student in good standing with high potential to finish the Master of Science program in Nursing. The student selected should demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
