My focus of teaching is on Maternal Child Health, Women's Health, Community Health and general medical/surgical nursing.

My focus of scholarship is Breastfeeding, Maternity Nursing, Women's Health/Community Health, Online and Nursing Education.

I completed my Master of Nursing in 1990 from University of Washington in Seattle, WA.  My focus was physiological nursing, critical care.  Although I have a focus on maternal-child health, I have an ongoing interest in nursing care on the progressive care/telemetry units and gerontology.
