I completed both my BSN and MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) at the University of Colorado.  My MSN is in Parent-Child Nursing with an emphasis in the maternal-fetal area. Although I have clinical work experience in many areas, my area of continued focus is women’s health.

I am a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health.  I obtained this education at Harbor-UCLA in Torrance, California. Along with my teaching responsibilities I maintain a clinical practice in family planning.

Currently I serve as West River Semester I coordinator and faculty advisor to students from two semesters. My teaching responsibilities and interests are in the areas of communication, obstetrics, women’s health, community health and global health systems/concerns. Presently I am developing an online Women’s Health interdisciplinary course
