I completed my Masters degree in Community Health Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi with a minor in Nursing Management. In 2007, I completed the Holistic Stress Management Certification Course, endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association. The focus of my scholarship is in the areas of stress management, health promotion, complementary/alternative health, and international health care.

My teaching responsibilities include both online and classroom courses including Stress Management for Life, Complementary/Alternative Health, Professional Nursing, Contemporary Health Problems, Public Health Science, and Epidemiology.
