Currently I am teaching in Semester 1 for N265 Health Assessment and Intervention for theory, on-campus labs, and clinical.  I have taught on-campus labs for Semester 3 and 4 and have taught in Semester 5 for N495 Directed Studies.  I enjoy seeing the students who are starting their nursing career and then again work with them right before graduation.

Prior to teaching, I worked as a Nurse Practitioner for a surgical service at Rapid City Regional Hospital (RCRH) and after being hired as an instructor for the College of Nursing in 2006, I became employed at the RCRH Hospitalist Service as a PRN nurse practitioner.

Currently, I am working with the SimMan Task Force to initiate the use of simulation in all courses.  I also am starting to work with the Turning Point technology in Semester 1.

I received my BSN from South Dakota State University in1993, MSN and CNP from South Dakota State University in 2003.
