I completed my Master of Nursing Education at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 2005.  My thesis topic was related to family routines of low-income families.  My specialty area is pediatrics.

Currently, I serve as the West River Semester III coordinator.  I teach or have taught the following undergraduate courses; Nurs 201 Medical Terminology, Nurs 310 Introduction to Public Health and Population-based Nursing, Nurs 365 Nursing Care of the Client with Health Problems. 

My focus of scholarship is Nursing Student Education.  Memberships and affiliations include the Sigma Theta Tau, American Nurses Association, and the South Dakota Nursing Association.
