I instruct the following courses; N310, N480, N495.  This is the primary focus of my assignment, the teaching of students.  I enjoy teaching at many levels as one gets to observe the growth and progress of students over time. 

My major fields of study are nursing and community health.  I also work in the field of Transcultural Nursing.  I am very interested in having all students participate in an “away” experience.  Recently, I participated with senior Nursing students in an experience to do community assessment and a service-learning project in South Texas to learn more about Hispanics.
