I completed my Master of Science in Nursing in 2006 at South Dakota State University. Currently, I am working on my Doctorate in Nursing at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. My thesis topic was nursing faculty attitudes toward laptop computers in the classroom, which resulted in the pending publication of an article.
Currently, my focus of teaching is in community health, medical-surgical nursing, health assessment, and professional communication. I am a clinical instructor in medical-surgical nursing and health assessment. I continue to maintain my practice and am employed at Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby, Minnesota. I am also a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Nurses Christian Fellowship.
