I completed my Doctorate in Education from the University of Montana in 1998, a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1989 and a BSN from the University of North Dakota in 1981.
My Focus of Teaching is on Pathophysiology, Physical Assessment, and Medical-Surgical Nursing. I also serve as a Semester 1 Coordinator. I am a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association, Rural Nurses Organization, National Rural Health Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and Midwest Nursing Research Society.
My focus of Scholarship is Rural Health Issues and Emergency/Critical Care.
