Personal Biography

Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, SD.

Masters of Science in Nursing Education from South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD. Work History: Specialized in Hematology/Oncology and Pediatrics at Mayo Clinic, coordinated Summer of Excellence Program at Sanford Hospital summer 2006 and currently employed part time at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Pediatrics. 



Teaching Philosophy

I see myself as a facilitator of learning. I hope to engage students in active learning to help them better understand their own health and the health of others. I believe learning is a lifelong process.
