I completed by Masters of Science degree, with emphasis in Nursing Education, from South Dakota State University in 2006. My Bachelor degree in nursing is from Mount Marty College, Yankton, SD. My Master’s degree project was in end-of-life nursing titled “Allowing Natural Death”, which can be found as a web-based course at SDSU.
Presently, I am an instructor for NURS 201, Medical Terminology. I also have clinicals in NURS 310 and NURS 325. I assist with labs in NURS 325 and NURS 365. My major emphasis is on geriatric nursing care.
I currently serve on the College of Nursing Search and Screen committee, and on the Faculty Development and Hospitality committee. I am active within District 9 South Dakota Nurses Association.
