Current Research

My research is in the areas of Early Childhood Curriculum, Emergent Literacy, Impact of Kindergarten Scheduling and Assessment.
Ongoing projects (funded or non-funded)
- The development and standardization of a USA version of the Swedish Word Chain (an early screening tool for detection decoding skills in 2nd and third graders).
- Action Research related to student's development and opinions relating to child inquiry and long term investigations.
-All Team Teacher Meeting (ATTM) as a strategy for Teacher Action on Research
