Research
Dr. Nussbaumer's research agenda revolves around interior design education and quality of life.  Various research activities include:  using learning styles to develop teaching methods for interior design education; developing an interior design curriculum for use in high schools; working on the restoration of historic buildings and interiors; conducting research on Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS); and conducting research on the Eden Alternative philosophy for the design of elderly housing.
