Safety Management

Welcome to the Department of Engineering Technology & Management!

The Bachelor of Science in Safety Management is an interdisciplinary program offering courses in applied industrial technology, industrial management, business principles, health and biological sciences, and human behavior.  The program prepares students to hold a variety of positions in business, industry, and the public sector associated with workplace safety and regulations as they apply to the workplace, required documentation and procedures, and compliance continues to grow as businesses realize that the costs associated with worker illness and injuries continue to grow.  The Safety Management degree is also recommended as a second undergraduate degree major to complement a variety of business, engineering, and engineering technology programs at the University.
