Computational Sciences and Statistics Seminar Series
The focus of Computational Science and Statistics (CSS) is the development and implementation of sophisticated mathematical and statistical models into high performance computer software for scientific applications. The SDSU CSS PhD Program is a joint program with USD that emphasizes the application of CSS techniques to the Biological Sciences. The program will strongly support work in the fields of applied mathematics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, and software engineering.
We are organizing a CSS seminar series to expose students in the program to researchers whose work is a possible source of dissertation, also to facilitate the possible collaborations among researchers in the region.
The Computational Sciences and Statistics (CSS) 892 Seminar is organized by Dr. Dan Van Peursem, USD Math dept chair, which is broadcasted at SDSU, USD and USDSU every Thursday from 4pm to 5pm. Here is the link to this seminar class:
