Nathan Jorgensen Nathan Jorgensen

Mr. Nathan Jorgensen is Assistant Professor of Music at South Dakota State University. He is responsible for directing both of the University’s jazz ensembles, and teaching private saxophone and clarinet. He is also the coordinator of the annual SDSU Brookings/Optimist Jazz Festival, which will take place April 7, 2009.

Mr. Jorgensen received his BM in Saxophone Performance from the University of Kansas, his MM in Saxophone Performance from the University of Missouri/Kansas City - Conservatory of Music, and is currently in progress toward his DMA in Saxophone Performance at the University of Kansas.
