The SDSU Symphonic Band The SDSU Symphonic Band is comprised of approximately 50 students who are selected by audition each year. Known as one of the finest university bands in the area, Symphonic Band is committed to playing only the best literature written for the wind band medium. This ensemble is directed by Professor James McKinney, Director of Bands and Professor of Music.
