Iliana received her BA in Marketing at Universidad de Occidente in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico in 2004. She was an International student at Harding County High School in Buffalo, SD in 1999 as well as in Tucson, Arizona in 1998 participating in different Media courses. She loves to teach English. She has been an English teacher of different levels back in her native Mexico and this year Iliana was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program to teach Spanish in the Modern Language Department. She is teaching Spanish 212 and she is very happy for the opportunity to share her native language and culture.

Iliana recibió su Licenciatura en Mercadotecnia por la Universidad de Occidente en Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico en el año 2004. Fue estudiante Internacional en 1999 en Harding County High School situada en Buffalo, SD, así como también participó en diferentes cursos de medios de comunicación en Tucson, Arizona en 1998. Le fascina dar clases de Inglés y se ha desempeñado como maestra del idioma en diferentes niveles en su nativo Mexico. Este año Iliana ganó la beca Fulbright en el Programa de Asistente de Lengua Extranjera para dar clases de Español en el Departamento de Lenguas Modernas. Actualmente enseña Español 212 y está muy contenta por la oportunidad de poder compartir su idioma y cultura.
