TSG Marketing seeks global sales manager

Global Sales Manager

Full time position to direct global sales and marketing for conferences and online publications for international marketing/PR firm. The candidate will be selling sponsorships, media advertising and coordinating industry marketing. Strong communication skills, software skills and international travel is required.

This opportunity requires a BA degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism or English with a minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in marketing and sales. A background in the energy or agriculture industry is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications:
• 2 - 3 years of national or international sales experience
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the management team
• Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
• Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and deadlines
• Excellent project management and time-management skills
• Ability to work well, independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate contracts
• Excellent fiscal responsibility
• Strong desire to successfully execute tasks, complete projects, achieve sales goals
• Creative thinking and dynamic problem-solving skills
• Computer competence - including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access skills. Internet marketing experience required.
• Bilingual in German, French, Spanish or Asian language a plus
Salary is commensurate with experience plus commission, company pension plan, health and dental insurance, paid vacations and holidays.

Tribal College Journal seeks a full-time editor

Tribal College Journal is seeking a full-time editor for our quarterly magazine in Mancos, Colorado. Position begins in May. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with several years’ experience writing for magazines or newspapers (or a combination of experience and education). Experience with American Indian contemporary issues and higher education issues is very important. Grant writing a plus.
Should have first-rate writing and editing skills and proven abilities to organize, inspire, and deliver. Must be a team player and willing to relocate to beautiful southwest Colorado near Durango, where the mountains meet the desert. After 17 years, the Tribal College Journal is one of the most respected publications in the higher education field. Published by the American Indian Higher Education Consortium, we cover the 35 tribal colleges in the United States and Canada and issues of concern to Indian higher ed.
