Frank Klock earned an M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.


He teaches Basic Photography (MCom 160), Photojournalism (MCom 261) and Advanced Photography (MCom 365). He also teaches photography for two weeks during the high school press institute and has developed a number of excellent young photographers.


Professor Klock advises the Journalism Club, one of the department’s most active student organizations. He continues to develop workshops and judge national photo competitions for the South Dakota Newspaper Association and for other organizations.
