Patty Hacker

Mark Ekeland Ph.D.

Currently, Dr. Hacker is a Professor at SDSU in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department. Dr. Hacker received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973 from Glenville State College in Education/Physical Education 7-12 and her Master of Science degree from West Virginia University in 1983 in Physical Education. In 1988, Dr. Hacker received her doctorate from the University of Wyoming in teacher learning/supervision/pedagogy. At South Dakota State University, she is the coordinator of undergraduate Physical Education Teacher Education. She is the faculty advisor to HPER Student Organization and teaches course work in both the HPER major and the graduate program.
