 Laurie Ferrell received her B.A. degree in English Education from SDSU in 1997. She taught high school English and drama in Minnesota and at Tri-Valley in Colton, SD. Laurie received her M.A. degree in English from SDSU in 2002. Her thesis compared the poetic styles of Edna St. Vincent Millay and Mina Loy. She has been teaching at SDSU since 2000.
