Dr. Kathleen M. Donovan received her Ph.D. in English from the University of Arizona in 1994. She joined the SDSU faculty the same year. In 1998, she was appointed to the Graduate Faculty. She is the author of Feminist Readings of Native American Literature: Coming To Voice, published by the University of Arizona Press, and several essays on Native American literature published in scholarly journals. She is a member of the Western Literature Association. She teaches the following courses: Composition II, Literature of Diverse Cultures, American Indian Literature of the Present, Women in Literature, Introduction to Literature (via the Internet), and a graduate course, Studies in Minority Literature. On campus, she has been a member of the American Indian Studies Advisory Committee and the Womens Studies Advisory Committee. In 1999 she was awarded the F.O. Butler Faculty Award for Scholarship. |
