Air Force ROTC strives to provide you a wide variety of professional and social activities. Just a few are: |

Professional Development Training Program
|
During the summer before your sophomore and senior years, you may volunteer to participate in these programs:
|
Operation Air Force (OAF) -- Provides cadets with functional area and specialized career orientations, human relations, and management challenges encountered by Air Force company grade officers. |
Rising Sophomore Program -- Expose scholarship cadets to the AF way of life. Three weeks acquainting cadets with various enlisted careers by observing AF NCOs accomplishing the mission on an AF installation. |
NASA Engineering Research Experience -- Provides cadets experience with practical knowledge working with NASA engineers on NASA projects. |
Advanced Course in Engineering -- Exposes cadets to cyberwarfare environment, simulations, and internship. |
Field Engineering and Readiness Lab -- Introduce civil engineering majors to Air Force civil engineering. |
Nurse Oreintation Program -- Serves as nursing internship in an AF hospital. |
Rising Senior Program -- Acquaint cadets with everyday tasks, activities and perceptions of AF airmen, NCOs and officers. |
At the same time cadets develop a greater appreciation of the duties, problems, responsibilities, and training they will encounter after graduation and commissioning as a second lieutenant.
During the academic school year, Air Force ROTC students have the opportunity to participate in many exciting programs unique to Air Force ROTC at SDSU.

Other Opportunities

Arnold Air Society -- Provides social and community service activities to develop your professional abilities. |
Formal Functions -- Our annual dinners and joint military ball are deeply rooted in military tradition. |
Informal Functions, Picnics, etc -- Cadets work hard studying and helping the corps run smoothly, but they also know how to take time to relax. |
Sports – Members of the cadet corps may participate in various university and intramural sports and activities. |
Base Visits -- Visits to Air Force bases throughout the United States are planned to allow you to see first hand the |

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program is mandated by Congress and applies to all governmental agencies.
