Dr. Meredith Redlin joined the faculty of the Sociology Department in the fall of 2000. She received her PhD in September of that year. Her dissertation, Living on the Dragon's Back: Environment, Agriculture, and Community in Eastern Montana, has been well-received.Dr. Redlin has been published in disClosure, The Southern Quarterly, Liberal Studies, and Tempest Magazine. In 1996 Meredith was one of only seventy graduate students nationwide to be selected as a P.E.O. Scholar. Dr. Redlin teaches Social Problems, Race & Ethnicity, Sociology of Rural America, and Rural Community Planning.
