Professor and Department Head

Evert Van der Sluis received a B.S.-equivalent in Animal Science and Social Economics from the Hogere Landbouwschool in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands; a M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University; and a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota.  Prior to joining SDSU in 1997, he was a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
