Joseph Santos

Joseph (Joe) Santos earned his B.S. in Economics from The College of New Jersey in 1990, and his Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in 1996. Joe joined the faculty at South Dakota State University in the fall of 1997. His teaching responsibilities include the undergraduate and graduate sequences in Macroeconomic Theory, as well as Money and Banking and the History of Economic Thought. Joe's research focuses on American monetary and financial history and applied macroeconomics. Originally a resident of Newark, NJ, Joe lives in Brookings, South Dakota with his wife, Christi.
