Jing Li, Ph.D.

Jing Li

Assistant Professor


Dr. Jing Li joined the Department of Economics in January 2008. He comes to SDSU from Auburn University’s Department of Economics, where he was a visiting assistant professor from August, 2006 through December 2007. He taught previously as an Instructor at the University of Alabama.

He received both his B.A. and M.A. in finance in China and earned his Ph.D. in Economics in December 2006 from the University of Alabama. His primary field of concentration was time series econometrics and forecasting. Other areas of interest include investment and macroeconomics.

At SDSU, Dr. Li teaches econometrics, statistics, time series analyhsis, and has a teaching/research appointment in the Department of Economics. He also has a joint appointment with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
