Nicole L. Klein earned a BA in mathematics and economics from South Dakota State University in 1990. She then worked in Washington DC before getting her MS and PhD in agricultural economics from Kansas State University. She joined the faculty at SDSU in 1997, and teaches courses in ag marketing and farm and ranch management. Her research is centered on livestock marketing, with specific interests including forage based production systems, commodity markets, and livestock pricing. Dr. Klein lives in White, SD with her husband and daughters.
