- Sophomore or Junior status
- Undergraduate research experience is essential

- Native American interested in healthcare or tribal policy

- Funds study in regions less frequented by Americans (not Western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand)
- Up to $10,000 per semester for up to one academic year (based on program cost)
- Must work for government for one year after return

- Study in East Asia (China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand, etc)
- Up to $7,000 for academic year
- Use with existing study abroad program
- Show financial need
- Deadlines: Summer March; Fall or Year April; Spring October

- Up to $5,000 based on program cost
- Use with existing study abroad program
- Must have Pell Grant
- Additional $3,000 if studying Critical Need language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian)
