STUDENT FIELD TRIP FEES
These guidelines are to be followed for field trip charges.
These will control accumulating balances, which is something we must do.
1. Field trips 20 miles or more from Brookings may be considered for a field trip charge.
2. Charges of $2 or more per student may be levied.
3. Funds will be used for field trips in the current fiscal year.
4. A proposal for a field trip charge will address the cash balance amount collected last year and the amount used last year.
5. If prior year funds exist, those will be spent down before any new funds are collected. The rate must be adjusted to use the prior year funds.
