Announcement

A summer opportunity for undergraduate students is available.  The guidelines for the program and an application are attached.  All required materials must be submitted to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (SAD 230) no later than 5 p.m. on March 14, 2008.  Notification of the awards will be made by April 10, 2008.

This program is designed to encourage the development of a mentoring relationship between undergraduate students and SDSU faculty.  The program provides a Mentorship (scholarship) of $3,000 for summer study involving original, scholarly activity as described in the guidelines of the program.

The awards will be competitive and based on the design of the proposed studies and likelihood of meeting the objectives of the applicant.
